Corn Upma











๐Ÿ‘Œ Ingredients

1 cup semolina ( rawa Suji)

4 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard seeds (serson)

a few curry leaves

2 green chillies - chopped

1 big onion - finely chopped

½ cup corn,  ¼ cup chopped beans

2¾ cups of water

1 tsp lemon juice

¼ tsp red chilli powder

1½ tsp salt or to taste


๐Ÿ‘Œ Method

1. Mix 3 tbsp oil & suji in a flat glass dish. 

    Spread evenly at the bottom of the

    dish and microwave for 2 ½ minutes. 

    Mix again and microwave for another 2

    minutes.  Remove and immediately

    mix well.  Keep aside. 

2. In a separate dish,  put 1 tbsp oil. Add

    season, curry leaves,  green chillies, 

    onion and beans. Microwave for 4 ½ 

    minutes. 

3. Add salt,  red chilli powder, water, 

    corn and lemon juice Gradually add 

    Suji,stirring constantly. Microwave

    covered for 4 minutes.  Stir. 

4. Remove cover and microwave for

    1 ½ minutes.  Serve. 

Tip : Use boiled peas instead of corn

         and enjoy peas upma.
